Functionality

Periodically disguises you inside a bush for natural camouflage. Reaching max level also triggers a bush disguise whenever you score an elimination.

The interval between bush activations shortens at each Level Up.

Bush periodically disguises you as a bush — free stealth on a timer. At max level you also gain a bush on elimination. The timer decreases with levels, making you harder to track between fights. Fun and surprisingly effective in casual lobbies.

IN-DEPTH GUIDE

Automatic Stealth on a Timer

Bush disguises you as a shrub at regular intervals — no input required. The disguise activates automatically, making you visually blend into terrain until you move aggressively or take damage. At lower levels the timer between activations is longer (roughly 30+ seconds); at Level 5, the interval shrinks significantly, keeping you in disguise more often than not during passive rotations.

Max Level: Elimination Trigger

At Level 5, Bush adds a second trigger: every elimination also activates a bush disguise. This transforms the sprite for aggressive players — you get an immediate camouflage after every kill, letting you hold position while enemies try to pinpoint you. In a multi-squad fight, each elimination resets the threat level by hiding you instantly.

Casual Lobbies vs Competitive Play

Bush's effectiveness scales inversely with lobby skill. In casual lobbies, players scan less carefully — a bush moving slowly is often ignored entirely. In high-skill lobbies, experienced players pixel-hunt and the disguise fools fewer people. For casual or creative players, Bush is genuinely fun and surprisingly effective. For competitive grinders, the value is harder to justify over combat-stat sprites like Killswitch or Shadow.

Movement Is the Weakness

Bush disguise breaks when you sprint. Walking slowly while disguised is viable; sprinting immediately drops the bush. This means Bush rewards patient, methodical movement — not the constant sprinting of aggressive players. If you're always running between fights, you'll rarely benefit from the disguise. Bush fits slow rotators and zone campers best.

Summon Cost and Pairing

Rare rarity, 2,000 Sprite Dust. Bush pairs well with sniper or scoped weapon loadouts where you're already playing stationary. Combine with Storm Scout for late-game zone control: late rotate under storm immunity, arrive disguised, take the final position before anyone knows you're there.
