Fortnite Legendary sprites are the second-highest rarity in the Runners season, with four base characters — Boss, Dream, Punk, and the unreleased Seven. Legendary sprites drop rarely from yellow key-required chests and specific boss encounters, and their Sprite Dust summon cost is high enough that most players target one or two rather than collecting all of them.
What makes this tier interesting is the internal variance. Boss is the sleeper pick — +25 max HP and +25 max shield at Max Level gives 125 HP / 175 shield effective, which is arguably the most consistently-useful buff in the entire game and top-3 for Zero Build. Punk is the single most divisive pick on any Fortnite Sprites tier list — its infinite-ammo effect can turn Build-mode wall takes trivial, but 240+ upvoted community comments argue it belongs in TRASH because ammo is rarely scarce. Dream is a wildcard: it hands you random items at each level-up with a Legendary payout at Max, but you only get the big pop once per match.
Below is every Legendary sprite with a full tier note. If you're prioritizing Sprite Dust, Boss is the safe pick, Punk depends on your mode, and Dream is best when you already have the other two and want a chaos factor.
There are 4 Legendary sprites: Boss, Dream, Punk, and Seven (unreleased). Each has multiple Special theme variants (Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, Gem, Holofoil where available).
Boss is the most consistent pick — an extra 25 HP and 25 shield at Max Level is a buff you notice every fight, and it's the go-to pick for Zero Build players. Punk is stronger in Build mode if you actually run out of ammo (many players don't). Dream is niche but fun.
OP's tier list ranks Punk Great because its "possibly nothing or infinitely something" effect can produce infinite flare gun ammo in Build mode, making wall takes trivial. But 242+ upvoted community comments argue Punk belongs in TRASH because by the time you level Punk to 5, you've opened enough chests to be full on bullets anyway. Verdict: it's a Build-mode-only pick, weak in ZB.
Legendary sprites drop from yellow Vault Key-required chests, specific POI bosses (Boss Sprite drops from a mid-map boss encounter), and can be summoned with Sprite Dust at a significantly higher cost than Rare or Epic.
